I’m a second year  Ecology student studying at Bangor University. In February 2016 as part of my degree I went on a field course to Florida which focussed on Floridas Subtropical wetlands. This aimed at highlighting the conservation and fittingly the ecology of these various wetlands. We came across mangroves, cypress swamps, sawgrass prairies and coral reefs to name just a few.

This blog discussed where we visited, information that we learned and species which we came across on our travels.
